Obama and McCain meet in White House for first time since health care fight
The first face-to-face meeting between President Barack Obama and Republican challenger John McCain since their health care battle has been scheduled.
In the Oval Office, Obama and the presumptive GOP nominee will discuss their positions on health care reform, but the White House did not give a time frame for the meeting.
McCain, a former Navy pilot and Navy admiral, is scheduled to appear at a fundraiser Tuesday night at the Capitol in Washington for the Republican National Committee.
The fundraiser is expected to raise money for the party.
